Participants will engage in a combination of lectures, discussions, and hands-on group activities to explore key scientific research methods, tools and techniques. They will be encouraged to actively apply the knowledge gained to real-world scenarios and challenges, fostering the development of higher-order cognitive skills.
Upon successful completion of the seminar, participants will be able to describe key concepts in scientific research, user research, usability testing, and biometrics methods. They will be proficient in designing, conducting, and analysing research data using thematic analysis, descriptive statistics and biometrics data visualisation. Lastly, they will be capable of critically evaluating research
studies, identifying strengths and weaknesses, presenting and interpreting findings.
